yup I'm a brand new member to the forum. I have owned my Blazing Yellow 03.5 MSProtege for over 4 months, and I decided to sign up finally. I thought I would start off with a bang, and ask a question that seems to be fairly obvious to everyone but me! Is the last 4 numbers of my VIN number my Production number? If not how do I find out what production number my car is? :confused:

As for the Prod# I couldn't tell you but you probably already figured it out.

I know someone on here is going to miss my post and say: "how do I find my production #?" This is for them:
Ok so I wanted to get to the bottom of this madness. I called Mazda , and asked if there were production numbers. YES THERE ARE.
Not on the car... Not the last few numbers of the vin. HOWEVER! If you call mazda cooprerate ...i think this is the number..
1.800.222.5500.
And tell them your vin # they can give you , your production number or (line number)
