Im looking to find out if anyone knows if the Halo Headlights are available for The MSP... If Not then what is taking them so long to make them they would make killer money on them!

I think our headlights are too big for angel eyes (I assume that's what you're talking about). The BMWs that they come on all have separate high & low beams, as do most of the cars that people put them on. You could probably do it on P5 headlights & if you really wanted to get these, you could look into swapping in some P5 lights & installing the angel eyes yourself. Personally, I think they look good on BMWs & only on BMWs (maybe GTIs too).

Are you talking about a whole new headlight assembly, or just making your own with the existing assembly?

I thought the the reason they look like that is because those cars have HID high and HID low beams.

The high beams are always on when the lights are on, when you hit the switch a little shutter type thing opens up so that the light goes out. When the shutter is closed you get the "halo" effect around the light.

HID take a minute to warm up, so HID highs have to have a shutter in the way to be "instantly on" like normal halogen high beams.

Nope, halo "angel eye" lights actually have a little ring around each bulb(hi's and low's).

We just put some on my cousins RSX and just driving around at dusk with the two sets of halo's on is a sweet sight.

Hey guys, I'm new to the Forum but I saw your post on angel eyes. I have a guy who can convert you stock headlights into projectors/HID's and can add angel eyes or cold cathodes. They looklight stock lamps and he does an amazing job. Here is his web site:

He's looking to start a new market for Mazdas so if I can get a bunch of mazdas interested he can give us super good deals.

So check him out, his name is Joshua and tell him that you heard about him from the Strange Protege 5 from Winnipeg.

Peace!

I'm also looking for a replacement set of headlights. Anyone know where I could find a set of 03 P5 headlights for cheap? (I've already checked Ebay.)

I have not seen a set of P5 headlights ANYWHERE except for ebay on occasion. I was looking for a set to convert my MSP headlights to the P5 style...I'll let you know if I see some though.
