There are some rubber cushions/seats on the strut perch. I checked Hondas and they do not have them. I felt the rubber and it seems soft. My theory is that this rubber compresses under heavy turns. Has anyone removed them? I don't think it would hurt anything since the springs should not move at the bottom. I think removing them might improve handling and lower the car a bit, specially in the front since those cushions are like 1/2 in. think in the front. What do you guys think?
Are you talking about the bumpstops? If you are then all that will do is give you a loud clicnking noise every time you hit a bump. I would not recomend it.

no, I am talking about the rubber at the BOTTOM of the spring. Between the spring and the strut.
