i had the same problem but i was at stock boost with an Injen. I put the stock airbox back on and the dealer fixed it for free

The car was designed for ~6.5 psi. If you want to double the boost, you should also expect this kind of things.

well genius you seem to be an intelligent person...so i guess the way the bov i have placed, that was weighing that plastic tit down, had nothing to do with it huh?

Yes, my car is stock except for a drop in filter so what?
I don't care about "my car is faster than yours" BS.
1- ANY car can be made fast.
2- There is always a faster car than yours. The fastest car belongs to the guy with the most money.
3- You mentioned the plastic pipe so I made a comment. I am sorry you took it so personal.
4- I'd rather spend my money on parties and getting laid. I guess we all have different priorities. I did not criticized you in any way so what are you trying to put me down because my car is stock?

Since you take my first comment so harsh, I guess I'd better get ready for this one...

well, at least it was that that went and not your engine ;) you could try some some silicon and glue it back on there....then take it to the dealership and have them replace the pipe for now. which bov/bpv were you running anyways? your turbo xs? guess since this happened, i'll have to think about fabbing up a cheap bracket to support the weight of the bov whenever i get one :p

So he's boosting 15 psi. I think thats great, someone has the balls to boost past 9.5. As for the plastic piping yea, that happened to me. A couple times actually. Soon as I get the cash I'm getting hard piping.

yeah its great, but you dont need to take up this fucking condesending attitude with everyone. i'm still at stock boost. so that means i have no balls! yes! i am a woman! fuck this "you have balls" shit.

That's pretty crappy to knock someone for being stock. Especially when they are simply trying to tell you to expect problems when you are doing things your car wasn't designed for. It's common sense. You don't have to heed it, but you shouldn't knock it either.

Leaving our cars stock doesn't make us any less of an enthusiast. My car is bone stock, but I did a total of 9 track days and autocrosses with it this summer. Does that mean I'm a pussy because mine's stock? What do you do with your car? (scratch)
