Max Rim size??? [Archive]

I have a 2002 pro and am loking at a new set of rims. What is the maximum size rim you can get on the standard shocks & springs??? I want 17" but i dunno if that will effect my handling of my mazda.

Any help would be good

i have 19's, fit fine. and i'm also lowered 3 inches. just make sure you get a least a 42mm offset.

i went on a web site that told me for 18's i konw the widest you can go is 7

Thanks for the help i got 16 by 7 they are great a nice ride. now to lower the car a bit and i will be fine.:D

good work.. 14-16 are the proper sixe for racing rims anyway good chioce. i'd go wider with a bit of offset but greate job congrats on your new purchase

Guy's i will be posting some pics of my new wheels as soon as my camera is fixed after it when for a nice dive in the engine bay.
