View Full Version : Looking for info on NOPI (HP) header

Does anybody know whether this is a street legal part?
Is it a bolt on or is there a modification required?
How does everybody like there MHP intake, i am still waiting on mine in the mail?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

I am new here and this seems to be the best forum for any type of Gen 3 protege have not found any better.

As far as I know, I think it is not street leagal by the picture, and being that it is a part number for our car and we are not having to use the 626 header, no modifications will be required. if you keep your second cat, or have a hgih flow cat welded in place on the header you should still pass emitions.

Oh yeah, I forgot.

I have the MHP intake, and besides the fitment issues it is a very good mod, and a beautiful one at that. Just be sure to take your time on the install, if not your pretty intake will be rubbed to hell. Your battery plastic surround can be pushed further back to give more room for the intake.
