Anyone else notice that the front struts in their MSP sqeek when cold? There is a speed bump in my parking lot and now that it is getting cold outside my car sqeeks everytime I go over it. It is really loud, noticable enough that people walking next to my car look over to see what is making the noice. (either that or they are checking out the spicy orange:D)Anyways I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed the same thing?

I have MP3 struts and they squeek all the time. Hot or cold, it does'nt matter. Kind of annoying, but not that bad.

mine did this too, but only when the car was sitting for a while in the cool weather and I have been leaving from work.

Lube the swaybar bushings (front). Just as an experiment I hit mine with silicone spray last PM and this AM no squeaky. Don't know how long it'll last, will be bringing to dealer for silicone GREASE (requires disassembly, and under warranty), or perhaps replacing the bushings eventually...

So Ping, you think it is the front bushings, not the struts?

its definitely the bushings. the struts are 100% fine. believe us :)

I have noticed a squeak in the front right when I go over speed bumps.

Its the bushings on the sway bar as mentioned before. Just spray them with Silicone lube.

you mean the strut tower bar? My squeak is from up front.

We have a front swaybar as well. The bushings are harder to get to but they can still be sprayed without taking the wheels off if.

funny thing, today they don't squeak. I wonder if the rain has anything to do with it?
