I'm afraid of something happening to my car. I.E. if i mess up the install it will get stuck of 14 lbs of boost. Currently I have the mods listed in my signature... I was planning on running 8 - 10 lbs of boost. I have the flash... SHould i wait to install it when I get my FMIC? or just go for it! thanks.

go for it just make sure you check over your install with a fine tooth comb. I hear good things about the profec B i wouldnt worry about 4 psi of spike with that unit.

Go for it!

Its pretty easy to install huh? Easier than a Turbo Timer or Boost gauge?

not easier than a tt or boost gauge but for what it will do for your car you dont worry about how hard it is to install. I believe the only hard part is wiring through the firewall and actually mounting the actuator. Go for it man then show us mad pics.

Do you go to the drag strip and race your car? I just wanted to ask you a question if you could possibly have any type of answer or guess. With a CAI, my car ran a 16.129 which was converted to like 15.642 down at sea levle because its around 3k elevation. After putting my downpipe exhaust system I ran a 15.518 which converted to 15.052 and increased my mph over the cai run by 4 mph. Say in theory that it was a 20 - 30 hp gain to increase by .6 seconds. How much would raising from stock boost which i assume is 6.5 - 9.5 which is a good 3 lbs of boost would give me for HP wise. If in fact I got another 20 - 30 hp from 3 lbs of boost Would i just only run a 15 flat which would convert to 14.5?

if you mess up the install and see the boost starting to climb higher than you want it to, just take your foot off the gas pedal. the gas pedal can be used as a boost controller too.

Was your boost controller hard to install? Did you T-out by the pedals?

It was very easy, like everyone said, the actual mounting of all this shit is hard. Also I used this hole in the firewall by the pedals to put the lines and wires through. It will take you a few hours.....not bad at all:D.

Yeah I really wanna get an electronic boost controller, but I'm scared of warranty. I might get a Joe P MBC because that seems realy easy to take on and off for warranty work. If warranty isn't an issue for you, I'd say install it! EBC's spike less I think, so that's nice. If you care about warranty, become best friends with your service manager :-p.
