there is grinding noise coming from my left front wheel and i have no idea what the deal is... it happens when i brake between 5 and 0 miles an hour, right before i come to a complete stop. i think it might be coming from my rotor or somethin but im not sure. any ideas?

brake pads worn? how many miles?
otherwise it could just be some crap stuck in the pad. check it out.

happens to me too, but the dealer told me my brakes were half worn but, i have 15k and it started around 7k for me. the idiot techs told me it was just the matterial of the pads and rotors. so to answer your question i think all msp owners should just go with big brake kit lol!!

i don't know, my car has 11k miles on it and it has no problem with the brakes, except for the fuckin turbo
I can see where the turbo would be a problem for the brakes, having to slow down after boosting is a pain!
My rotors are warped too, got 'em machined at 4k under warranty and the throbbing is back at 6.5k. Bring it in, make 'em fix it, complain about the rusty hubs and Mazda's TSB on hubs should get you new rotors.

People riding in my car ask if the breaks are gone. I told them it is Fazda (Ford/Mazda) engineering.
