Hey guys,
I need some advice on two things.
This is for a 99 Protege LX.
This car was taken to a dealership because the "check engine" light was on, and the dealership came back with the following:
Code 402 - Passage in intake manifold.
What does this mean? They are saying that it means something is blocked and there is an air flow problem, and are claiming that the entire throttle body has to be taken out to correct. Is this true, or should it just require taking the air box and intake system out to inspect?
Also, they say two "transmission mounts" must be replaced because they are broken, at a cost of a few hundred dollars for parts and labor. Anyone know what this is, or is it bogus?
