When i press the brakes at above 540 mph light or hard no difference the wheel shakes and i can feel alot of vibration. Now is it normal for my brakes to do this at 4k miles? If not could i get the dealer to do something about it?

It may be that you are going 540 mph. What kind of mods are you running, cause I want the same thing...

At 540 M.P.H. I wouldn't even think about touching the brakes!!
lol
Take it back to the dealer, tell them the complaint, it will get new front pads and rotors......
They will blame it on either hard spots in the rotors or the actual rotors being warped.....either way you get 12months or 12,000mi warrenty on brakes

Sorry guys my keyboard is messed, i meant 40-50 and above. So all i have to do is go in and say they vibrate and fade then they will replace simple as that?

Should be.. I am outside of the supposive 12 month warranty so I am going to have to bitch to get anywhere.. It is more than likely alignment or rotors..

Having the same problem bro. The dealer is going to work on my problem with out any problems. Just let them go for a test drive with you in the car.

have them check the front-rear brake adjustment, too. Could be your car is stopping on the front brakes only

Same problem at 4k, dealer machined the rotors and it's back at 6.5k, my vibration isn't bad at all but it's noticable. I'm going to require new rotors this time - besides, mine are shiowing rust.

there's a TSB out for the rust, I believe

a-yup, and it says if the owner isn't satisfied with the repaint that Mazda will replace the rotors... doesn't address warpage though.

the TSB doesn't include '03 mazdaspeeds however.......maybe your dealer will be nice though
