Question: Does the A/C automatically come on in defrost mode?

Make sure you buy snow tires...do not drive with the stock tires in the snow...and congrats

The defroster on our car (and nearly every car) turns on the A/C system, even if the temperature is set all the way to heat. The A/C will dry the air...the dry air picks up the moisture from the window much easier.
