Out of the numerous exhaust that are out there. Which one will net the best Hp. All I have right now is the AEM intake as performance gains are concerned.

Considering price is not an object, will I get anymore then 3 hp out of any of them?

Would it be more cost effective to go to a local muffler shop and get 2.25 inch custom piping done to a universal muffler?

Thanks for the help.

I would have a custom exhaust made for me if I had it to do all over again. It would be wise to have them make a "test pipe" that removes the 2nd cat, or replaces it with a higher flowing cat.

just make sure the muffler shop either has a mandrel bending machine , or is willing to use pre-bent pieces to weld your exhaust together. Crush bent pipes suck for flow!

get a high quality muffler and resonator, unless you want to be really loud, then just get a muffler.

So 2.25 piping would be optimal. Mandrel bends , remove 2nd cat, or get high flow one and all should be fine and dandy?

HP increases expected? 5 hp maybe?

sounds good. 2.5 is the max I would go expecially if you are gonna stay N/A. then I might consider 3" but thats really pretty big.

And about 5hp sounds right to me to me (thumb) especially with the removal or replacement of the 2nd cat.

also, if you can get anyone to make you (or replace) the downpipe with a higher flow cat you would see even bigger gains.

just beware of the smog police

Magnaflow claims that their system will add 8.?. I don't remember the exact number. But, this is the best I've seen.

Someone here claimed the jic will add 10-15. But, I haven't seen proof.

Look into a MAGNAFLOW catback. Magnaflow claims 8.1hp and 10.2tq at the wheels. I've sold a couple of these kits and the quality and finish are awsome!. Full stainless with polished resonator, muffler and 3.5" tip. Even on a car with the stock intake, there was a significant gain (based on the butt-dyno). With your intake it will probably show an even greater improvement. Hope this helps, Ryan

8 hp would be like a 8 percent increase in Hp. That sounds good.

How much is the magnaflow? :D

Magnaflows list is $444usd + taxes. I sell them for $528.80cdn taxes included (approx $390).
