View Full Version : felt my shifter go up and down

wow.. well, tonite i tried pushing my car in the rain.. but the tires slipped and i felt my shifter move in funny ways.. i went from 1st to 2nd, and 2nd to 3rd and i really thought that the shifter fell completely outta place

runs fine tho.. got scared for a moment

if you have an aftermarket..shifter..i would suggest checkin out the bolts underneath!

your engine was boucing around, causing the shifter to move with it... the kartboy bushings can help that some

sounds like you got wheel hop. this will transfer to engine hop that will transfer to shifter hop!
not sure if SB will help this or make it worse.

or, you did what i did and orginally installed the shifter o-ring on incorrectly and its literally coming up and out.

tom - if i paypaled you right now for some exhaust hangers could you have them to me before friday (ie - no later than thursday whatsoever?)
