My dad is a paint and body guy so obviously I would get more than half off the price.

I personally would go performance with the money wait til the paint chips and scratches a little before you go replacing it. but when you do wanna replace it I might suggest a Black with House of Kolor metallic flake (red or blue as suits you). if my friend ever finds his happy-assed way back from Iraq, i think I'm gonna have him do the black with red (he's a painter by trade, militant by choice).
just make sure you get a plan of everything you'd like to do, inside and out, and get a plan together before you drop massive amounts of cash.

So I'm not alone in this world! :D I don't know why but I love the spicy orange; I think it would look great on a P5, and would certainly be unique. If I end up getting mine repainted in the next couple of years (due to paint chips, obviously), I'm seriously looking at doing the same thing.

Come on kiddies think now if you get an expensive paint job then you have to get a not as close match once you paint the paint the new body kit youll prob purchase and when you get the new grill because you hate the black bar. YOU JUST BOUGHT THE CAR ENJOY IT DRIVE AND MAKE IT FAST. If your dad owns that shop have him say he's working on a mazdaspeed and the trubo went bad so you can get it as wholesale...

Are you willing to pull the motor and the the interior (trim, seats, carpet, panels, etc) if you change the color entirely? I have plans (in time) to repaint as well, but the same color (just "better" coats).

I hate half ass paint jobs where you pop the hood and see the car was like red [around the inner fenders/engine bay] but now is yellow or something different than orig.

Whats more important to you, how it looks or how it drives? A spool stage 1 turbo is not that expensive, and it will give you a good boost for a decent price. At the same time, a spicy orange MP5 will be pimp. Go with your guts on this one. If my dad was in the auto shop business and I could get a deal like that I know I would get my MP5 painted Titanium. Now that would be PIMP.

I say think for yourself and stop asking people what they think you should do with your car. Do what you want to do with it. Thats is where originality comes from. If you want to paint your car paint it. If you want to paint big penises on do it. Its your ride and your cash fuck what everyone else would do. ;)
