hey i have an automatic p5 and i was curious to know what the best way to launch was...

with out really killing my transmision ofcourse

hold gas+brake and hold up the ebrake. release the ebrake and brake and keep flooring the gas. she go :) - chris

*warning* u break your car, dont blame me. use at your own risk o.O better than dropping neutrol (sp?) to gas

Do too much of that power braking and you better get you a good tranny cooler.(burn)

the right way would be to install a stall converter...something like 2200 is still useful on tha street.

im lost with out a clutch pedal and stick myself..autos are for soccer moms, not street racers with only 4 cans firing ahahah

Just for the record you are not luaching with front wheel drive. If you have rear wheel drive then you are luanching. When something is luanch it is being it is being push from the rear by some sort of force. Hence a rocket. I would not recamend doing this it will shorten the life of your tranny drastically. My tranny only lasted 52,400 miles. Thank God for that extended warrenty.
