I could be wrong here, but I'm almost positive that the Injen at this time ONLY comes in Polish with red badging/hoses/connectors. If you go to your own link you posted it says right there that it's Polish only....I do know that if you go to a local dealer tho that they can get you hoses/connectors off a different car intake and if they are nice will let you trade the red stuff for yellow for instance.

I WISH injen offered it with different colored soft parts.....my P-5 is yellow....and of course my intake has red softparts....if they start making them with different colors...I am going to HAVE to see about buying new soft parts.....of course seeing as how MAZDA saw fit to put a RED tower strut bar in my yellow car insted of a YELLOW ONE like they put in the MP3....it sorta matches...lol

I stand DOUBLE corrected....yes it does say all three types there...and TWO...it IS in fact a one piece unit...never seen or heard of that before....
my question now is how do you use the stock MAS with it? and if its NOT the stock one...what do you use?

The one piece is for the 1.8L protege. The two piece is for the 2.0.

i just called the guy i though they were all chrome with different hoses they all have red hoses they are just different color tubing. i had him email me some pics so here they are. i like the blue, what do u guys think?? the red would look sick on a yellow mp3.

Ben, I know the pic is of a 1.8....but the add says 2.0....guess it could be a typo, huh? did anyone call to see if they have a one piece for the 2.0 as well? it also states that its for the 2002 mp3 and P-5 neither of which come with a 1.8.

Yeah, it's probably just a typo. There wouldn't be a way to put the MAS in there if it were one piece.

Ben and to ALL....I don't know what MAF/MAS they want you to use....but I just called....they told me this is a NEW release and IS for the 2002 2.0 or so the sales person told me...however he didn't know anything about the MAS/MAF. I told him about the picture and it was NOT our motor....he stated that the picture was only there for reference. so....guess a call to INJEN is in order to be ABSOLUTELY SURE.

The MAF/MAS is the Mass Airflow Sensor. It basically reads the amount of air coming into the engine. Without it, your engine will chock and quit. They may have made it so that it goes inside the intake tube. I dont know?

NOPE....autoparts.com is just screwed up....I just got off the phone with INJEN....they do NOT make a ONE PIECE for the 2.0 3rd Gen.....its evidently a typo in the database of that place.
oh well...it looked sweet!

well I wrote to the bozo's at autocarparts.com and told them that their catalog site was messed up and had some bad information....they turned around and wrote me back and told me that after talking with INJEN themselves....guess what? WE were right....at least they had the common courtesy to write me back. SO, I sent them back a reply and sent them a CORRECT picture to put on their site for the intake they are selling. :{D
Paul, you have to have the pictures hosted on a server somewhere like YAHOO and link to their location or on your own webspace....then you use the IMG button that is above the text box when you are writing a post....another pop up box appears and you type in the URL of the images.

i think im just gonna go with the aem short ram in blue its 40$ cheaper and i wont loose any bottom end. i dont like how the blue injen still has red hoses. i just wish the aem came in yellow
maybe ill go with silver instead of blue. tough decision.

In case anyone wanna see the colored Injen, go here (http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/mazdamp3_1367/lst?.dir=/Injen+intake)
Although they are not RD6060, but it gives you an idea of how the colored one looks.

well I went back to the page that listed the intakes for OUR cars...and insted of fixing the data so that it was for the 1.8/1.6 litre motor OR putting up the right picture and stocking the part for the 2.0 litre motor....they (autocarparts.com) just deleted the entire selection....the bozo's.
