I already posted this in the audio section. Does anyone know if a JL 8" W& will fit the MSP stock enclosure?

You posted it in there and no one answered, weird.
See I leave for one day and damn!
I'll answer over there.

i seriously doubt it. I took my kenwood out and there is maybe 5 inches of mounting depth, the w7 is a huge speaker.

I didnt even know they made a 8'' W7. Are they new bc when i went to get myself a new sub i dont remember a 8'' W7 so i got a 8" W6 instead.. I love it. A lot tighter and hits harder than the kenwood. Also make sure your amp is bridged and the selecter is on mono and the gain is set right as well bc my amp was not set right from the factory.

I used to have 6 8w6's in my 1st gen laser. They would make the rear glass flex when they hit. JL makes some really awesome stuff, and if a 8w7 would fit in the stock enclosure that would be sweet!

Again even if you adapted it the stock enclosure would explode from a 8W7.

Is it really that weak???

I would be using the mono output of an Xtant 3300.
