i opened my exhaust up at the turbo by removing the down pipe. it sounded like ass( like a ten wheeler semi truck) and i didnt feel like it pulled any harder than it did before. it did not throw a cel i was running stock boost i have an intake and i did not reset my ecu. can any one comment?

It should take three engine cycles to through the CEL anywhere from 150 to 200 miles

Why did you do that? You thought you were going to gain power with no exhaust? :confused:
It took my car about 12 hours for the CEL to come on after removing the cats.

less backpressure = more power.
he should be getting more power with no exhaust.

Well..He will only feel it up top..After the turbo spools up..

get yourself an electrically powered dump valve, for racing, and run it through the exhaust for normal driving.

yea where can u get one of those dump thingys? do u just add it in line with the exhaust? Is it worth it?

yes worth it, well if you call a 15-20 hp gain worth it.
