View Full Version : Big stall with 14psi at full throttle

I was driving my cousins MSP and when going at WOT doing around 14 psi, I felt this big jolt, pulling back for around 1 sec. Like the ECU had just cut the fuel.

Has anyone felt this, do you know what the hell happened?

Sounds like you answered your own question. It was probably the fuel cut.

It was the fuel cut (MAF induced). On a cool morning like this one, the amount of the flow of the air maxed out the MAF voltage.

Yeah, that's why when I start boosting over stock, I'm gonna get a Feul Cut Defenser. Inexpensive, and worth it on these cars.

Oh, never understood what the fuel cut-off defender did. Now we need one! hehehe!
