I want a blue mazdaspeed. My dealer here in waco tx, have a blue mazdaspeed for sale. Only thing is that i still owe around 15K on my Mp3. I would trade it in, but i dont want to be turned upside down on the deal. plus i dont think anybody is going to pay for a 15K used car. I saw that some of you guys sold your 2k3 protege 5's and mp3 and went out and bought a mazdaspeed. How did ya do it? Im young and i really dont know what to do. Did you trade in your Mp5's and Mp3's or did you locally sell them and got what you paid for? Especially on the Mp3's if you traded one in, what did you get for it?(If you dont mind telling) What do you think is the highest i can get for mine?

turbo the MP3....is better anyway and will save you a wac of dough unless you can get the speed for $16 K...the expect around 10-12 for the mp3...then it would be the same

Austin isn't that far from Waco. Save yourself $6k & drive there if you really want one. You shouldn't pay anything over 20 for an MSP & 22 is even higher than the MSRP.

Yeah, don't get jipped in Waco, go to Mazda South in Austin. That's where I bought my MP3. They won't fuck with you.

you will also generally make more money by selling your current car private party than you would on a trade. have you tried listing your car anywhere to get a feel for what people would offer you?

I called about getting an MSP a couple of days ago. The guy at the dealer told me they would take my P5 and give me whatever i owed on it. He said he didn't have any used P5's on the lot and they really wanted a used one. Price of MSP was 20000, plus a $2000 rebate from Mazda and $1000 from the dealer= $17000. To bad I don't have a down payment and my P5 has too many aftermarket parts, including a mintblue thats molded into the body. I think you could get them to pay for your full loan without you being on the downside.
