We = ProPartsUSA/Tri-Point Engineering. Thats why i'm gauging interest. When its an offical GB we will pay to be an authroized Vendor. Fidanza Flywheel 7.5 Aluminum Flywheel is what we offer. It would be $350.00 shipped + Cluch Kit price.

Will this clutch fit an MP3? If so, I would be interested in a possible combo purchase

Normal ACT pricing for small businesses is 25% off list. For larger companies I've seen it go as far as 70%. Tri-Point is a rather large company ;)

If you want a slightly beefier version of that clutch at a lower price get the Z62-HDSS kit, it lists at $380 which comes to $285 with normal discount :D It uses a MZ-015 PP isntead of a MZ-018 which has a slightly stiffer feel.

Either way, bring the deals! This is the next best upgrade if you plan on running over 200whp for extended periods of time. I've used them in all of my cars running up to 240whp and they grip like no tomorrow, with the ability to slip as well on launch.

Acutally there were a couple of issues with that MZ-015 Pressure Plate. ACT said that it would fit the 2.0L proteges but when we tried install it on some cars it wouldn't work. So ACT has fixed that problem and uses the MZ-018.

maybe a better deal for a combo, i am pretty sure alot of people around here have gotten the flywheel clutch package from a site that lists the stageIIr clutchmasters clutch with 9lb flywheel for around 500-550.

The stand alone prices look rigth about on for people to save a little but I am pretty sure there are better package deals out here...

ill see if I can find one.

edit: sorry it was 595 including shipping for the stageIIrclutch and flywheel package.

Clutch master is no ACT =) In fact they have showed in numerous magazines that ACT hold more torque than Clutch Master.

ok this is what I went off of, like I said I am just researching, not saying one product is better, but I would really like to hear what you think aboutt his quote from the FAQ of that web site.

Both the ACT II and Clutch Masters STAGE I have equal torque holding capability. The ACT II has been popular with probe owners in the past because ACT was willing to do bulk buys to give the appearance of offering a low price. In reality, RR-Racing sells the Stage I CM for less than the ACT bulk buy, and we feel the CM clutch is *better*! Both ACT II and CM I utilize a modified 40% stiffer pressure plate and organic disk. However, two factors make the Clutchmasters kit better then ACT. First, the Clutchmasters pressure plate, while achieving the same plate load as the ACT, has a much lighter pedal. Light pedal load is important because it transfers less force to the crank thrust bearings -- hard clutches put excess load on the crank (and your foot). A secondary factor that makes the Clutchmasters clutch better than the ACT is the disk construction. Below is a picture taken of the back of the Clutch Masters disk (left) and the ACT/stock disk (right) once it has been separated from the disk assembly. As you can see, the Clutch Masters disk on the left has a steel backing. The metal backing provides for a more durable friction surface that actually serves to pull heat away from the surfaces (metal is a very good conductor) -- and that's what makes the Clutch Masters BETTER.

I have a clutch master stage I, it shudders on down shift and slips when power shifting down to 4th at highway speeds.

I want an ACT

Count me in if it would be 300, I can get it for 325 or a little more than that off a guy I know so it needs to be worth our time. 300 or less would be a good number to go with. See if you can get these with a flywheel as a package. That would be nice

Ive got a clutchmasters stage1 and its pretty good, ive never gotten the clutch chatter that others have.

but with that being said, after a year of abuse mine is starting to slip some. so if this would ever get below 300 id definately be in.
