As soon as I get my windshield clean I drive a couple of miles .........'SPLAT' I get hit:mad:....I mean there are times I get multiple hits. What is this? Are you guys having the same problem. I mean, the weather just got warm, how come there are so many. Do they purposely sit there and wait for our car to come by...."ahhhh...there is hot blue MP3 let me make my life worthwhile and take it head on!" Stupid bugs!!!

its a fact, bugs like cars. After you wash it you usually have to deal with bugs, bird crap, or rain. its a fact of life to have to deal with one of them after washing a car.

Yeh, I know it is one of those unavoidable things once you are driving. The thing that seems strange to me...is the number of splats I got compared to the earlier years when I got an occasional hit once or twice.

We have no bugs here...yet. Come summer tho, and especially at dusk, we get some big blood-suckin' mosquitos.

I'm really looking forward to the bugs in the summer here. We get some HUGE suckers come June through august. I was riding my bike last year on a weekend trip, about 500miles round trip. Had to stop about every 50-75 miles to clean off my shield. It was bad. Could hardly see half the time.
I'm considering getting the clear bar (3M adhesive) for my front end just to keep all the bugs from staining the front. I hate bugs.

I take that back, not MANY bugs here. I drove 250 miles last weekend to the Long Beach GP and when I got home I had about 6 small specks that USED to be bugs, thats all.
That's probably just here in Urban SoCal however

Hey up here in davis it's like the wrath of god on cars. First we have more crows around here that lay bombs the size of cow shit. One hit on the windshield and you lose all visibility. I live in "The Trees Apartments" so you know there are some major pollen issues there. and well since this is an agg school there are tons of bugs because there are tons of animals. I have to wash my car twice a week
