fading door handles [Archive]

any of you MP3 owners notice that the color of the door handles and mirrors is fading? Mine is, but Mazda has graciously decided to repaint them for me.

It seems to only be the plastic parts that were black on the regular proteges

just wondering.

not mine but i guess its because i keep it in the garage all the time....though the door still under the windows is fading...

i rember a thread about yellow mp3s some body parts are different shades.

somebody mentioned that there bumper was a different color or their spoiler. I know i saw a mp3 at a meet and noticed it. I think spicy msp are also like that.

yeah, thanks... but mine are DULL and faded... kinda different. it almost looks like the clearcoat was never applied, or it wore off, then started to rub the paint off.

same here ryan...mine are fading bad. its very noticable to me, of course. the mirrors are door handles. you said that mazda is gonna repaint for you? i need to see my dealership.
