View Full Version : Hole in the firewall for Power cable?
Ok, I got a subwoofer and whole nine yards sitting in my Nissan Maximas trunk. Want to hook it up in my Pro. Can anyone tell me which hole in the firewall of the engine bay should I use to run the power cable from the battery to trunk? If anybody has pics it would be better but, need your opinions. Did a search here but nothing came up. Thanks in advance.

There should be a rubber gromet behind your clutch pedal somewhere. You can use that. You may have to poke a whole in it with a screw driver. There was just a thread about this: http://www.protege5.com/vbb230/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32815
Read through the entire thing and it should answer some questions.
Thanks alot man. You see on my Maxima i did it the ghetto style. Ran it in the opening between the fender and hood, and through the the whole by the door bracket (where the door hooks up to the chassis) Maximas have 2 holes there with rubber plugs. But Pro doesnt have that so it kinda narrows down it to the firewall only.
