Lurching under acceleration.....

Dammit, I just got my car back from repairs after a fender bender, now the bastard is lurching like a mofo in first (gear and sometimes second) under accelleration - I really have to baby it and sometimes that doesn't even work

Any ideas on what this could be?? Clutch slippage was my thought - my car has 50k on it and I guess I've driven it harder than average (not any drag racing though).

Anyone?

i was gonna suggest clutch slip. but you're all over it.

Well, I thought it was the clutch but after checking it out on the dyno at the smogger place, my engine is jumping around like a juggie on a trampoline!!! Looks like my front engine mount is busted, maybe the rear too. Much less than a clutch, thank God.

Mine lurches in first like a mofo in the hot Texas heat. Its been cooler outside now so its not so bad anymore, just annoying in the heat. Anyone know what that is?
