amp most likely over heated and cut it self off to protect itself, it will work again when it cools down. Assuming that's what happened

Check the fuses. I'm betting you blew one. There is one next to the battery in little box on the power wire for the amp. Also check the fuse in the amp itself.

What Notorious said. Also, even though this is a MSP factory amp, this shouldve been posted in the Audio section. :D

Do you have a volt meter. If so, set it to "Ohm" and connect the positive and negative leads of the meter to the pos and neg of the posts of the woofer. If it reads close to say 4 ohms (being it is a 4 ohm woofer), then it should be fine, otherwise if it has a very low reading, you fried the voice coil.

If you look at the positive terminal you'll find a wire that is connected to it that will go to your amp in the back. Follow the wire about 6 inches and you'll find a little box with a fuse in it. That's the one your looking for. If that fuse is fine, check the one in the amp itself.

I was thinking of an inline fuse, but since I don't have the MSP or a MP3 Pro, then I don't know if there is an inline fuse or not. You would have to check the owner's manual for that one. Sorry no help there.
