View Full Version : Painted strutbar... piece of cake.... opinions?
Finished this last night. Was easy going.... only thing is in order to get a great primer coat you have to sand a TON on the strut bar. Anywho.... color matches my hoses well... was worried it might not come out exact but low and behold it did :).

i just dont understand why you chose baby blue as a color? i mean that shit looks great, better than anything i could do. but why not keep it silver, or do red but blue?

I went red but I like yours blue so whatever, to each his own. Good job:)
Ive never seen the engine without that cover on... Didnt realize the plugs were that easy to change. Plugs and wires on my old LT1 camaro took about 3-4hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not really a baby blue in person.... pic didnt do it much justice IMO. Quite a bit darker than in the pic
I'll take another when it's not bright as fuck out.

because everyone and their cousin does red. not a baby blue in person like I said.... looks more like that windows theme blue color.

Try a 3rd gen rx7..... changing those sparkplugs sucks unless you have a full lift

I like it... I love blue.
PKay---what is the custom RXcooling unit in your sig? Also arent those wires a 1st MP3 in NH grounding kit?
Edit: just looked harder and those are definitely not ground wires? What are they, or did you just do that to do it (get different color vac lines and sheet?)

I took the red one from my P5 when I traded it in. Now I have an unused silver one and the red one is happily sitting under my hood. It's nice that dealers don't know shit about the cars they sell :D

how long did the vac hose kit take u to put on?
about an hour total.... but i was very thurough and made things exact and marked my old hoses incase i have to return things to factory.
To the average tuner it'd take about 30-45 mins
