miata vs. 69 firebird (400)

closest race i have ever been in! Man was it exellent. we fliped flopped for about 2-3 miles, then we hit twisties and i took him! a mazda miata beat a damn 69 pontiac firebird with a 400 ci. motor. WOOOHOOOOOO!. this was also my buddy pat. hes a cool kid. i felt wicked bad afterwards though because after the race he blew his rear end (i knew i smelt something funny), at least he cant say he didnt try:D

I mean, good for you, but did you expect to lose or something? :)

Panoz are American made.

What makes you think the miata allows the driver to out-handle every US spec car?

I've seen plenty of road-races, or autocrosses where miatas got Beat.
