Same exact fender on P5 as any Protege?

I need to get a new front fender for my P5. I found some places online that sell replacement fenders but they never specify that it is for the P5. All they say is if it has the hole for the side marker light.

So question is.....is the front fender the same exact one on a P5 as compared to the non-hatch Protege?

No...The ealier sedans in the third gen didn't have the hole for the side marker light. It came in the 2002 model year for the sedan.

There's a part number on the website somewhere. In 99 or 00, not sure which, they changed the headlights which also affected the fender. Check into it, but maybe a 2000 fender will work. However, any 2001 and pre 2002.5 fender will work in that they don't have the side marker light.

Bah, get the newer front fender and install the new lights, pigtail them onto the other side blinkers, or do the "R6 Suli Headlight Mod" and use some relays!
