Is there anything that we should check for on our cars before we take delivery from the dealer?

I noticed that on 3 out of the 4 MSP's the dealership had on the lot the front bumper didnt fit flush. They had a broken clip underneath the headlight assembly that was fixed with a plastic weld. Can't think of anything else I noticed but I always check for little stuff like...grease in the interior from the techs, scratches on rims, nails in tires(i found one in mine), and any scratches on the paint.

Check the black plastic weatherstripping stuff. When my parents went to pick up my car, the one I was supposed to get had that stuff like turned over in 3 places, so they made them give us a different one. Lucky for me, it meant I got one with 8 miles instead of 30 something. :D

Nah just the basic stuff..check the body and interior for fit and finish, inspect tires for proper air pressure and no bubbles or defects, look underneath the car for any leaks, make sure it starts :D, etc.

Come to think of it, my P5 is the first car I've ever seen or driven off the lot that was pretty much flawless. Even the steering wheel was dead on straight. I mean....DEAD ON straight :D.

Check every detail of the seats and the exterior. Don't pick it up in the dark. My dealer did that and I have a scuffed leather seat and a scratched bumper. Oh, make sure they get off all the sticky stuff off the sunroof, that was nasty on mine.

Make sure you taste the oil...sometimes the dealer puts some low quality stuff in there to cut back on costs.

I had a dent in the hood that was not visible in the sun..but when I went to pick it up it was under a little roofed area...I saw the dent on an angle. Also I had some scratches on the hood. They got rid of the dent and most of the scratches except one...It bugs me but at least I don't have to worry about getting "the first scratch" ...it's there.
