Looking for aftermarket brake pads for my 02 P5. The stock pads at the dealership run about $170.00 for the whole car. The pads shouldn't be worn already, but they are. I know Mazda redesigned the rear pads and will replace them if your car falls into that category. unfortunately mine doesn't because I installed lowering springs. Whatever. But if anyone know where I can get aftermarker rear pads for it let me know please. Thanks guys.
I have only been able to find front pads.
How are they claiming a shorter spring voided the brake warrenty or possible failure. That is completely BS and illegal.

Brake Pads are not covered under warranty anyway. Its a wear and tear item.
If there is a recall, then they have to no matter what.
If its a TSB, its their choice.

they cannot claim a voided warranty unless they can prove that the aftermarket item was directly responsible for the problem, and springs and brakes have nothing to do with one another

I say again....brake pads are not covered under warranty.
no they are not under warrenty but a TSB on brake pads can not be denied for a shorter spring. Or for any reason for that matter. IF the car's vin places it in that TSB it is to be performed at the customers request.

All those things are what I told the jerk-offs at the dealership. They don't want to hear it so fuck them. It's too bad too because me and my girlfriend are in the market for a new mini-van and were going for the MPV but that changed our minds. Not that you guys care. Oh well '04 Quest here we come. I just feel bad for them trying to tell me bullshit excuses when I know more about cars than them.

You need to report that to Mazda of America. And if there is another dealer go talk with them. Can't hurt.
