Yeah, i noticed last summer when I got in the damn knob retained my palm print then the top few layers of leather indof peeled off.

some leather conditioner will help that right out 1st, I used some on my 91 240's knob, which was all but a knob of fuzz/spongey/falling apart in my hands, and it became good as new. I actually used some type of horse saddle treatment from a friends farm (thumb) Just once and its still just as good as it was when I had it (brother has it now)
