Hmm i wanted to purchase the catz dual beam hid conversion kit but it is now illegal to sell or purchase. Does anyone know where i can get a quality dual beam hid kit for a reasonable price? Thanks.

mazda has mazdaspeed parts available at the dealership, which is the equivalent of nismo, you just happen to have all of them on your car already

Nismo has also been factory backed in the US for a longer time period than Mazdaspeed.
Just wait...

Could someone explain this to me ,If HIDs are superior and allow for better night vision and are aimed properly ,why are have they become illeagal in the States .
The same thing happened when Halogen bulbs were introduce , The cars in the States had to run a sealed unit but it could be a halogen filiment .I think I just answered my own question . The headlight manufactures don't want HID's because it will reduce sales of other headlights ,therfore they will lose profits ..

HID's aren't illegal...The crappy retro-fit kits are becoming illegal. And this is good because they aren't aimed properly and just throw all kinds of blinding light all over the damn place.
But, that's just the way I see it.
