Now I know what you are probably thinking...If these rims are so great, why is he selling them? Well I bought these rims in May 03 for my blue Honda CR-V. I wasn't absolutely sure I wanted to match these white rims with my blue paint job...so I waited to mount them and kept them in the box. Well now I just got a new 03 Mazda Protege5, and I am certain that I don't want to mount these certain rims with my paintjob, so basically...my loss is your gain!

Here are some more details on the rims:

5-100mm
5-114.3mm

Thanks! I know I'll have a good experience with this forum as I start to mod my MP5

the problem with those wheels are they will rub. with a 17x7 size, we need at least a +45 offset.

Not only that, but they appear to be 5x100/114.3 only. I don't know of any wheel manufacturer that has a fitment for 4 & 5 lug on the same wheel (at the same time.) Correct me if I'm wrong.

None the less, they are sharp. Good luck on the sale! :)

45 offset? as in you would have to use a spacer?

as I learned when I was picking out rims a short time ago

The lower the offset the further out the rims stick. SO spacers effectively only reduce the offset and push rims out even farther.

So what you're saying is that these rims are to wide, or not wide enough? I don't understand  I bought these for my CRV, but when I got a MP5, I made sure that they would fit them; I thought they would.

I'm not sure what you mean. The informaion I posted is the exact info I got with the rims, so if there is a mistake there, I didn't make it...I'm just repeating what I was told. Thanks for pointing that out though...

Anyways, I'll try to find the definite answer for you guys if they fit the proteges. In the mean time, if anyone knows for sure that these will or will not fit, please post. But also, don't forget that these fit A LOT of other vehicles, so keep that in mind if you have another car. Thanks!!!

ya they don't fit the MP5, but they do fit a lot of other stuff. I know people got other cars than their proteges
