a bulb could possibly help, MSP's have the "euro" style pink lens for the reverse lights...maybe that dims the light a little.

...the lights are to notify others you are backing up, not to illuminate 100 ft behind you, im pretty sure....

Why couldn't one of those over paid car designers make lights that can do both? Oh, wait...GM is doing it on some of their cars.
Still not enough to get me to buy a GM again

I'm getting ready to mount a set of H3 55 Watt Fogs on the back bumper of my truck. It makes a huge difference at night. I used to have a set flush mounted in the bumper of my RX7 when I had it. Just run a power lead and a relay off the existing reverse circuit.

They are supposed to do both. The reverse lights on my 5 are bright as hell.

I had a Yugo where the reverse lights hung down below the rear bumper, so I replaced them with 55 watt fogs. You could see like 2 blocks behind. That was great!!!
