I've searched and saw that it could run a little too lean... so what exactly can happen?

it's not the boost controller, it's what you turn the boost up to with that controller, just like always

ive got mine set at around 9 psi
feels o so good
the feul maps have remained pretty much the same, so thats not really what the problem is, its the advanced timing that could cause some problems

If you're worried about the timing causing problems, try running slightly higher octane. That might help a bit. I know I can get 94 octane locally quite easily.

I'm pushin around 12psi after the flash. I checked my plugs today for any signs of detonation and there was none. Only some black soot from the overly rioh fuel issue.

So yeah, the car is still running protectively rich.

I have been running 8, gusting 9 psi for a week now after the flash on 93 octane with no signs of detonation using the stock plugs. I will probaly crank it up the extra 1 psi to 10 psi tomorrow, like I was running pre-flash and call it good.
I will eventually get the colder plugs, but I think the stock are fine for 10 psi with good gas and fall temps.
I have noticed no difference in the A/F guage before and after the flash.... It still bounces around the same on idle, and pegs to the green when you get on it.
The car doesn't feel like it makes as big of a launch when you come on to it, but it is probably faster, just so much smoother that it isn't noticable.
When I come to a stop-light now, my tach needle actually stays stopped with me instead of shaking up and down a few hunderd rpm's like a junkie on ritalin. It's all good!

That's kind of up to you to decide that. There is really not a "best boost controller" Here's a list of tubo parts for starters. (http://www.corksport.com/main.php3?primNavIndex=0&mainURL=%2Fstore%2Findex.php3%3Fcat%3D266379)
Turbo XS, GReddy, HKS, APEXi are all good brands. It comes down to how much you want to spend and what all you want.
You might want to do some reasearch on turbos and how they work before you start modifying your car though.

Anyone turn up the boost after flash in CA?
Just wondering if there's problems boosting up with the shitty piss water(91 oct) they call gasoline.
Hell, i think I heard my car knocking the other day( stock boost).

Just what I wanted to hear =) BTW I wouldn't trust the readings from a Air fuel guage unless you have a wide band o2. The stock o2 sensor doesn't have much resolution.
