Convince me what CAI or SRI is the best

I have done a lot of reasearch on the CAI for the MSP.
I heard they have an AEM V2 available. Can anyone confirm this?
Which intake do you have on your car and why did you choose it. What makes the Spool better than the Injen? Let me know.

spool is better than the injen because spool supports the members on this board. it's also made of ss instead of Al. i have not heard of aem's v2 being available for the msp, however, the v2 has many applications for many other cars, mostly in the honda/acura lineup. and a cai is a cai. as long as the bends are mandrel, as long as the tubing is of correct diameter, it makes little to no difference.

i have the injen on my car. i absolutely love it!!! in my opinion, the injen is better since it replaces all of the intake piping, though spool did testing and apparently found little gain over their setup. i got the injen cause it was the only one out at the time, but i don't regret it one bit. also, isn't Al lighter than ss? check my sig for where i got mine.

Wait for the K&N typhoon to come out. Trust me it'll be worth your while. It is going to be a little on the pricy side. But it's up to you, the Injen can be bought pretty cheap nowadays.

The material of the pipe that the bpv is actually on determines the sound. Injen uses a metal piece so it makes the higher pitched sound. My k&n uses a plastic piece and is a deeper 'woosh' sound. So its just personal preference. Either way, the stock bpv is definetly goin to be generating different sound.

The msrp for the k&n is like $400-$600 I believe, but they haven't released it for the msp yet. It should be soon since I already got the prototype.
I'm not sure why it costs so much. But I do know that the typhoon comes in three models and the msp get the Complete Cold Air. Go to their website and check it out.

Hehe sorry I don't have that capability @ this time, u know how it sounds like with a cone filter on the MAF? That's how the k&n sounds, cept LOUDER! That's the best way I can describe it.

Well there are a few issues when installing and running a CAI. Injens replaces all the piping from the turbo foward. We utililize the plastic piping from the turbo to the MAF. Gains are minimal by replacing all the plumbing but the biggest concern is that when you replace the turbo/maf pipe you affect the MAF placement.If it is not placed in the exact location as the stocker you are affecting a very sensitive sensor that will affect driveability and you may encounter serious idle issues. You do not have to worry about this with our CAI;)

Dyno results in yet Spool?
I am leaning more and more towards your product over the injen. Convince me to get it. :) It is your buissnes to earn. I also plan on an FMIC after the winter so I may be looking to use your products again if I am happy. After doing the reasearch I have only heard good things about your products.

Hey Ryan we have been very busy and unable to commit to the dyno on the weekends. We are pushing for testing the CAI next saturday. Our CAI does what the Injen does however at a fraction of the cost and does not put the MAF in a funky position that will affect driveability.

It really looks nice in person too and matches our FMIC:D
