Has anybody checked the hose from the T to the Wastegate to see what kind of condition it is in??

Just as a precaution, do it! Just slide the outer tubing so that you can visibly see the actual hose.

Thought I would bring this up because when I put in my MBC after getting the hose off and looking at it, the damn stock hose had no flex left to it, and it actually had spits in the middle of the hose!

Anybody else have this problem????

Yes that stock hose is so shitty there is no way it would last very long. At least mine was of a very poor quality. I think Mazda screwed the pooch using such a crack prone P.O.S.
It was dry and brittle.

Yeah, my hose has some surface cracks in it...but I don't think they're deep enough to cause leaking. I would replace the hose with a new one, but my dealer would bitch if I did that...

I did! If they ask why...I'll just tell them about the old hose and I put that one in as a temporary fix until I could get a new one put on! Glue or no glue on the fittings!

Thats cool...If I could reach down to the wastegate, I'd probably change out the whole line...and a small zip tie would work just as well as that crap glue I would think..

You'd be amazed at the really good info you can find in the archives on this site. Not searching, but just going back page after page and reading things.

Just out of curiousity but how the hell did you get your hands in the location where the line connects to the wastegate???

I was going to replace that hose with a longer one so I had more room to work with my MBC and for the life of me I couldn't get anywhere near the wastegate. I tried from the top, from underneath, are you guys removing anything else to get at it easier, please let me know cause I would really like to replace the line with something longer and better...

it took me and one other guy with 2 sets of pliers to get the new one on. To get to the wastegate, I just shoved my hand down around the intake pipe and got to it with an xacto knife to cut through to get it to separate from the glue that is on the coupling!
