Wow, cool. ChopstickHero were these pictures taken at the Vancouver dock (so for Canada) or Port Hueneme, Calif. (so for US)?
And do you know if they're pre-production or production models?

from what I can tell in those pics, it appears they are european versions... the license plate holder is of euro size, and notice that the side reflector on the rear bumper is amber, also an european spec unit

Being as the European-market Mazda 3 goes on sale this month, it doesn't surprise me one bit that those are European models...albeit LHD ones.
From the picture poster's location, I'd say that those were taken at Mazda Canada's head office, in Scarborough, Ontario.

When you say the sedan and the sport are coming out at the same time do you mean that sport=hatch.
