Got a question::confused:

I'm thinking about installing an Apexi AVC-R in my 2003.5 Titanium Silver MSP (#335) and I was wondering how difficult it will be to install it since there is no harness made for it. Also, I was looking at mounting it up in the headliner, in between the visors. Will this even work or am I trying to do something that will end up hitting me in the head?

Thanks in advance for the info.

it'll be fine where you plan to mount it. i donno how to install that. i know that you need to put the solenoid on the vaccume line and you need to run the electrical to the interior coming from the wastegate. it shouldn't be that hard.

i am also planning on getting the avc-r.
it shouldnt be too hard once you get the wiring diagram.
i believe its just tapping in to the wires and not cut and splicing them.

Cool. Thanks.

Right now I'm trying to get the wiring diagrams and the Factory service/repair manual from my dealer. That should help too.

My big question though is with my choice for the install location. I don't know how difficult that's going to be.

I may get a new peice of that vinyl that goes under the passenger sir bag and mount it there. Any comments?

Wow!!! This thread is still alive??? I thought I deleted it.

Never got it done... realized that there was much more to do before fooling around with a boost controler. My order of mods as of now is:

1) New "FIX" bushings.
2) HKS Type 0 TT install (another story)
3) Intake
4) Exhaust (turboback system with cat)
5) Intercooler upgrade (FMIC or bigger side-mount)
6) Gauges (deciding on location)
7) BOOST CONTROLER
8+) who knows then... maybe call it good and start a "Project Car" :D

Hopefully when I get to the boost controler, I'll have figured out where I want to put it.

As of today, I was working on getting all the EGG off of my car. Secondary hit. Looks like whoever (insert punk-ass bitch name here) tagged the car parked next to mine and I got the overspray. Well a wash and three coats of wax later, she looks good.
