I have a question, for those who have blown their subwoofers, did you normally turn the volume on the radio down after you turn the car off each time? I ask because i think that if you start the car and the volume is too high, then you can blow the sub and speakers.

Anything is possible.
It is wise to turn the volume down. But if I remember correctly, I remember that the sound just doesn't go to the preseted volume before you turn the car off, but it goes up rather quickly from mute ( you don't "see" this, but I can hear it)

That's what I'm saying. So don't leave the volume too high and then turn it off. Turn it down considerably then switch off the car.
