Well, I'm making the jump from the domestic world into a Mazdaspeed mid this week. I have my money down on a 2003.5 Titanium, its going to be my commuter car for work. I managed to pick the car up for just over $17k with tax/tag on the Ford X-plan which was cool!

I have a lot of experience with the forced induction in Mustangs, but what is available for the Mazdaspeed? The car is relatively new, and I plan to push the boost up a bit and open up the exhaust. Anyone have any leads for me on parts for the car?

Mike

Check out my thread "Work in progress: MSP Aftermarket" at the top of the forum (it's a sticky thread). It's not finished, but has some good information.

Hi Snowman
Welocme to our happy little corner of the internet and congradulations on the MSP. Titanium is DEFINITLY my favorite MSP color (thumb)

There is alot you can do, unfortunitly the end results
of time are still to be told on certain techniques. No lack of opinion on what to do though :D.

Well hopefully the Mazda forums are friendlier than those in the Mustang world. I work for Steeda, and have to deal with the folks on Stangnet and Corral daily. I'm knowledgable to a certain point, but this is my first turbo car.

Snowman, how did you manage that price out the door??!! I called a stealership a couple days ago, and was quoted 19,647 on the S-plan which is the Ford X-plan for Mazda. That price was ofcourse before the rebate which would have put it at 18,147 before tax and stuff. Was he B/Sing me on the price??

Good luck with your MSP Snowman! I hope it doesn't fall apart and run like crap like all of ours do.

I thought Ford was X-plan and Mazda was S-plan?

The X-plan (or S-plan) with the $2000 incentive from Mazda plus a $500 college grad credit.
