View Full Version : Any MAZDASPEED owner have the 'Callaway' (stock) airbox ELBOW they wish to sell?

Let me know. I may want to buy it. I will also need that plastic bracket that attaches to it. (it bolts under the airbox) I am referring to the elbow intake tube that comes out of the stock airbox, and points down. It says Callaway on it. Thanks!

Cool. Keep me in mind. As indicated in my revised first post, I will also need the plastic bracket that slides in the slot on the bottom side of that tube. It mounts directly under the airbox, comes up, then slides in that slot under the Callaway intake tube.

You putting the stock box back on? I put mine back on without the Calloway 'elbow' because that piece of crap broke off...oh well it probably flows better without it...

Yeah! That's what I'm thinking. I know what you mean about the 'piece of crap' breaking (lol) (rofl). I was thinking about re-installing the stock airbox, and forgetting the elbow, yes. We will see.

I have had one offer. How much are you asking? Also; this bracket is part of it. You will notice my Callaway intake elbow is broken away from it. That should all be one piece. You can see where the bracket slides in that grooved area on the Callayway tube. It appears it was 'flash' attached (almost like melted to the pipe). As many will attest. it breaks away easily.

I have been using a K&N RU-3580 Cone filter. I am putting it back to stock until I get a CAI (if I get a CAI). Maybe after the Omega.

hmmmmmm.. I think the tube pointed down. I know the slot is on the bottom of the tube. But now; I'm not sure which way it pointed. I remember the 'Callaway' was facing up. Mine hasn't been on since March. I just don't remember. As long as that bracket 'slot' is on bottom, it doesn't matter.
