Hi,

First of all. I want to say hi to everyone, I'm new to this discussion board. Also, I'm new to cars, so I might have some newbie questions

Now, I have a newbie question for you guys. I have a 02 P5 and I want to add some super white headlights and yellow foglights. I know that the super white headlights are H7, but do you guys know what are the "ID number" for my fog lights??

Also, because the plate for my fog light is broken and Mazda wants to charge me 80$ CAD for it, do you guys know anywhere I can get it for cheaper??

Thank You Very Much

I've been running these H7 bulbs by a company called Senko. There straight from Japan and burn a 100watt beam but only run at 75. I've had them on my car since Jan. of this year and have had no probelms with them getting too hot and burning stuff up. I know of other brands that run higher wattages and will melt the plugs and wires. I paid $20 American for them here in Hawaii. I was kind of skeptical at first but they've been great!

Yea i'm looking for a brand of H3 Yellow bulbs to put in my fogs that will actually look yellow when turned on. Alot of the bulbs say they are yellow but when turned on they look like stock lights...... Those MTECs are kinda pricey though....what about the other H3 Yellows on EBAY? Are these any good? Here is the link: LINK (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33710&item=2430407510)

It's sad, the guy who installs stuff for at me Sparkco told me that yellow lights are illegal here in Montreal. So I guess I'll have ot stay with stock lights. :(

The guy told me it's fine as long as it's made by the manufacturer (as in, when you bought it, it is that way [in our case, yellow fog lights]). I asked the same question to that guy because my dad's infinity QX4 has yellow fog lights.

Alot of things are stupid...my car won't pass the "recon" (reconstructed vehicle check) because the Foglights are too low to the ground. When I told them they are stock fog lights they said not anymore since once you lower your car the whole vehicle is no longer consider stock so a whole new set of rules apply..........

:) I've got yellow fogs, I live in PA, just had my car pass inspection, and I drove past multiple officers in the past few weeks. So I think we are fine with the yellow fogs as far as I can tell and have experienced. Good luck! :D

i guess it all depends on your state and on how strict they r.
