Well, I opened a formal complaint w/ Mazda, and they called my dealership- who then called me. I took it in today, and the dealership called the tech support line in the morning. When they called back (Mazda), they admitted that there was a problem, and gave my dealership a new part number to order replacement bushings for the sway bar. I'm not sure when they will be in, but this is definitely a start. I'll wait to see the finished product after the bushings have been replaced w/ Mazda's "solution". I'll post the results when I get the work done and the car back. For anyone that cares, I'll try to get the old and new part # when I take it back- then I'll post that as well. Good luck to anyone else who has this problem, hopefully this is the real deal!
hmmm, sounds interesting. Let us know those new and old part #'s. This may be it.

I hope they give you different bushings and not just replacements. They've stalled long enough! It's time for a REAL solution, not just reclamping or replacing. Up until I crashed last Tuesday the noise was still there! I had the bushings replaced once and repositioned & clamped twice already! I hope you have better luck with Mazda than I did. Only time will tell if they are different bushings or just replacements. Keep us posted, and GOOD LUCK! This could help a lot of us out. Thanks, Jon.

I work in the automotive industry, and a different part # means a definite change. Either engineering changed specs on the piece, or else they switched to a different supplier. Either way, I am guaranteed something "different" from what I have.
We'll see...

Is this released in a Technical Service Bulletin(TSB)? If so, it'll be easier to get the dealer to fix it. Just tell them you want it fixed per the TSB and they'll do it under warranty. Would be nice if we could get that TSB # if there is one. Any Mazda Techs here that could look it up?

Took my car in today for routine checkup-maintenance....They said they had heard and knew Mazda does know about the bushing problem...No part # has been set for the problem but its in the works from what I heard....So for the Canadians it is known up here too...just to let you know

Hi Kurt ... I am at Don Mills / Steeles. If you see an MP3 with a front hood deflector around First Markham Place or along the Hwy 7 Chinese strip, chances are it's me!

Kurt / Sakura, you guys are both wrong. I am female, so not the guy with girlfriend Kurt saw. I am currently not in Toronto, so I was not in FMP these few days. (Does it also have the front hood deflector?)
And yes, I have been following toprotege.com. Too bad I can't make it to the meet @ Speedorama. Hope to make it to the one at auto show.
