Help! I'm computer illiterate!

Please excuse the fact that I'm an idiot for a moment here. If someone could please tell me how to list my mods at the bottom of each post it would be highly appreciated. Also what's the deal with the whole member rated thing? Is whether your a novice or an expert determined by the number of posts you have? If someone would be kind enough to answer me, thank you in advance. Jon.

ok...for the mods list...click on my profile at the top of your page, then click on view/edit profile, then type in what u want in the "signature" box.

you have to get your picture online somewhere. go to http://www.geekazoids.net/~images/ upload your pic...in your signature box...use vb code to put it in there.

If someone could give me detailed instructions on how to get the pics into my signiture I'd be greatful. What the hell is vb code? How do I get pictures off that site? Keep in mind the name of my post. It is pretty sad actually. :( Thanks, Jon.

go to the link above in the other post... click on browse. pick the picture u want to upload off of your computer. click send file. wait. it will pop something up when done. scroll down. it will tell you where that picture went to. copy that and paste it onto a notepad or word document. go back to your signature box on the profile screen. type paste the picture and then type

derrick1623, I got my hands on a p.o.s. digital camera and took some out of focus pics the other day. Like I said before, I don't have the internet right now so I saved the two pictures to a disc as a word doc. (so I could bring them to the school's computer) I just tried the link and hopefully it will work. If for some reason it doesn't, could someone help me out? I have the two pics on a disc and want to put them in my signiture. / derrick1623, I got my bulbs from a friend who works at Bumper to Bumper (a store in Seaside Heights New Jersy) for pretty cheap ($20 total for the H4s and the H3s!). If you don't live too far away, maybe we could work something out. Excuse me while I pray the pics show up in my signiture. :rolleyes:

Okay, so after I pick the file from the uploader and click open, it tells me where it went but it says "No file was uploaded!" If anyone knows how I can get the 2 pics, which are saved to a disk as a microsoft word document, to appear in my signiture, I'd be very greatful. Thanks, Jon :confused:

you can't save pics as a word doc...it won't work. im in md.

My damn insurance company STILL hasn't sent over an agent to see the damage! What am I going to do now? I'm not sure. It all depends on the insurance company. As for the CAI, the bottom half (from the bypass valve down) was crushed (literally) into pieces. :(
