View Full Version : FS==Magnaflow muffler on P5

I'm selling my Magnaflow muffler which was prevously installed on my Protege5. The piping goes to the axle, so all you need to do is remove your "axleback" and install this "axleback exhaust". Asking for $75.00 for local pick-up in Los Angeles area. I will post pics soon. Thanks

What meets ???

I'm justa new guy, bought a P5 about 3 months ago and just joined the forum about 1 week ago, good stuff you guys have here !!!

This is my second post, first one is related to the e-bay intakes, wanted some pictures of the install procedure, with the forum help I just installed this past weekednd.

Now I want to improve the other end, but not sure what to ger, mazdaspeed or a magnaflow... what about other options ??

welcome to the Forums, I live In thousand Oaks. I dont know much about the P5 considering i have a mazdaspeed. But you will find all the info you need and more in the Protege 5 forum. And you can always get great ideas and oppinions from the locals at our weekly meets. Every Sunday

it says it starts at 6 , but really people meet at 7:30-8.

What just happened???...hehe.... And ya, everyone COME to the LIFE PLAZA MEETS!!! Lots of fun, people just kick back and talk about anything....
uhhh...anyways...sorry I haven't had time to take pics of the muffler...but it's still for sale....i'll bring it to the meet this coming Sunday...it'll be sparkly clean!!! In my opinion, "most" mufflers have similar output, but if sound is a concern, my Magnaflow is pretty nice....it's not too loud, kinda deep, nice look to it...and it'll be a "direct bolt-on" for a P5!!!

edit: actually i just found a pic of the muffler from Magnaflow.com.

Sorry for the delay with the pics of my Magnaflow muffler...but here they are... again..it's in great condition, no major scraches or dents, this muffler tip FITS PERFECT on the "circular part" cut out of the bumper...I'm selling it because I got a catback exhaust and have no use for this one...

I'm looking to sell this to someone locally in Los Angeles...maybe we can meet up at the Life Plaza meets this weekend....

Sorry, no sound clip...i'm not into loud stuff and I feel that it's pretty quiet however deep, you shouldn't run into issues with the police...i haven't :)

If you don't find a local buyer and are willing to ship (and the shipping price is to much) I'd be interested. I live in NY so it may be a bit much, let me know.

The muffler and all the piping are in great condition. You won't regret it...i've been driving around with it in my car!! help me out guys!! :D
