i was going on a freeway at about 100 MPH and my car started to jerck and slow down. (just installed my boost controller today and intake last night) The car slowed down so i pulled off the road and opened the hood and nothing was wrong visibly. i got back in my car and the car was off. it turned on again easily but now it does not accelerate like its does normally. the hessitation i very bad and it really hesitates at 3000 and pulls very slowly. right now i have it cooling down and i am resetting my ecu. can any one help me out

I just installed Joe's MBC tonight and I thought I'd try putting the K&N cone filter on at the same time for the extra noise... I installed it, reset the ECU and away I went.
Even with the fuel pressure reducer kit installed, I had MAJOR hesitation. I came back home and put the stock airbox back on and reset the ECU again. Started it up, let it idle a bit and off I went. No hesitation at all now...
What kind of intake are you talking about? Injen CAI? K&N Cone Filter? K&N Drop-In Filter? Custom Made? I have a feeling it has to do with that since all of your pipes checked okay..
Oh, and I picked this up from talking to OrangeMSP tonight. Mix up a spray bottle with water/soap and then spray the hoses you played with while installing the MBC while the car is running. See if any hoses bubble up, as there may be a small crack that's too small for you to see but opens up as air is rushing past it.
Good luck.

After reading your post again, it seriously sounds like when my I/C pipe cracked where the BPV hose meets it. Be sure to check that joint, as MANY of us have had that break apart. It's not too obvious unless you actually pull it. OrangeMSP and I think mine broke off from the stress I put on it while I was taking the stock airbox off to replace it with the K&N for the night.

Remember, if you stick just a cone filter on the end of the stock intake, the fan blow counter-clockwise right towards the filter. Wa La - hot air.

Speakin' of which, would it be possible to rewire the fans so they're push fans instead of the current pull fans? Anyone thought about that? I know on my old Accord it had Flex-A-Lite fans which could be switched depending on voltage..

has a check engine light came on.
you have a medium sized boost leak somewhere on the pressure sideand the reason it feels like shit after 3000 is cause that's where the boost is at

Im getting the same jerk as you at 9psi, its the fuel cut. Your gonna need an AFC to fix that stuff. Im getting a Split Second Electronic Fuel Controller this week, Ill tell you guys if that solves the problem.

phrisco - can you describe the jerking you were felling to me ?? mine is wierd because it drives normal (a little slower than usual) but then in 5th gear it feels like it has no power throught the whole power band. then after a while of test runs and goig about 110 mph it starts to jerk. i slow down to a stop and take off, then in 2nd gear about 3000 it starts to jerk like if some one was pumping my brakes.
