Is this supposed to be connected somewhere?

I was inspecting the engine bay when I got home and I found this between the steering flid and washer fluid. It's not free flowin but it is fastened to the car. Looks like it should connect to something. anyone know if it is connected already or supposed to be connected to somewhere?

Thats the side of the engine were the cruise control would be, but I dont know .....

looks to me like it is connected to the body on the underside, you can kinda see a little black clip. But look around for the other end, it shouldnt be too far if it does connect to anything. Might be something else for the dealer to use to test something, or it might be for cruise? I dunno

I've seen that.. And no, mine wasn't connected to anything, either.

I think it is for the bumper turn signals, which we don't have.

Yunno, you could be right coz the wires come out from a group of wires leading into the headlight/turn signal

not sure what it goes to, but it is the same color as the wire from the window washer fluid pump behind the bumper.
